Getting to and from JFK on AirTrain is rapid and simple. Anyone can ride to and from Penn Station in Manhattan with the Long Island Rail Road in about 35 minutes and to and from most parts of NYC on the subway in about one hour.

If you’re arriving into JFK, there are three AirTrain routes that stop at every terminal: the All Terminals Route, the Howard Beach Route and the Jamaica Station Route. These routes can connect you to other routes as well as connections to the Long Island Rail Road and New York City subways and buses.

If you’re departing from JFK, there are two convenient locations where you can connect to AirTrain: Jamaica Station and Howard Beach Station. Both are served by several connections to Long Island Rail Road trains, New York City subways and local area buses
